Congratulations on getting a new puppy! The best time to get your puppy started with grooming is soon after they complete their puppy vaccinations, which is typically around 16 weeks.

 

At this stage they might not need a full haircut yet but most likely need the hair trimmed around their eyes. We’ll also trim their nails and their sanitary area. This first appointment is mostly spent helping acclimate them to the grooming salon. Especially for dogs who will need to be groomed their entire lives, starting early will really help to set them up for success. 

 

We offer a Puppy Love acclimation appointment for $50. 

Their price will gradually increase as they grow.

 

We encourage you to continue brushing them at home as well as handling their paws, tail, and ears often. 

 

These first few grooming appointments will be important building blocks for your pup as they experience the sights, smells and sound of the salon. We really want to make it a great experience for them so you can rest assured they will be well cared for and loved on by all of us during their appointment.
